چکیده
Most mobile and wearable devices present digital audio signal processing capabilities. Since the nature of signals is analog, there a need to use analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) with high-resolution for high signal-to-noise ratio acquisition. This paper presents high-level modeling design continuous-time third-order sigma-delta modulator (CT-SDM) an FIR DAC devices, using supply voltage 0.5 V. The divided in three steps carried out Delta-sigma toolbox discrete-time (DT-CT) transformation. First, schematic implementation verilogA models done estimate first-integrator amplifier specifications provide 14 bits ENOB. Following, two-stage inverter-based designed used verify strategy. Finally, transistor-level OTAs comparator evaluate CT-SDM performance. An in-depth analysis discussion are presented explain achieved results those circuits.

متن کاملVHDL-AMS Behavioral Modeling of High-Speed Continuous-Time Delta-Sigma Modulator
An advanced design methodology using a combination of behavioral models and transistor level models is presented in this paper. This methodology is very interesting for complex mixed-signal IC design, reducing the simulation time and improving the design flexibility. In order to validate the methodology proposed, a High-Speed Bandpass Continuous-Time Delta-Sigma Modulator is modeled. This modul...

This paper describes the implementation of a low-voltage, wide bandwidth, continuous-time low-pass ∆Σ modulator. The presented modulator operates at a supply voltage of 1.8V and can achieve a maximum SNDR of 74dB (more than 12 bits) for an oversampling ratio of 32 and in a bandwidth of 2.5 MHz
متن کاملContinuous-Time Delta-Sigma Modulator Model for A/D Conversion
In this paper we present a study of a Continuous-Time Delta-Sigma Modulator (CT ∆ΣM) to be applied in radio communication systems, including a high-level modelization for simulation purposes. The conventional sample-and-hold and comparator blocks, very popular in CT ∆ΣM models, are replaced by an analog-to-digital converter (ADC), in order to allow the ADC modelization. In this way, we propose ...
